  12. 1.  Instructions on printing documentation:

  14. The GB.DOC file, which is the Giftbase Manual, is meant to be printed off on a
  15. dot matrix printer in IBM mode.  Send a condensed code and an 8 vertical lines
  16. per inch code to the printer before printing.   If you have a fixed tractor
  17. feed printer, you may also want to offset the document from left about 20
  18. spaces with a macro within your word processor.

  24. It prints out about 100 pages.

  26. Note:  I use Multiprint 4.0, by Gerry Doyon, to print out the documentation.
  27. It gives you an "at a glance" visual indication of where you are in the
  28. printing of the document.  Try it.

  44.             licensee agreement.
  45.         g.  My thanks for your integrity, and for supporting my software.

  79. Ctrl-F9.

  81. b.  If you are a new user of Giftbase, enter the following command before
  82. starting Giftbase for the first time:

  84. REN XXFIL*.DAT GBFIL*.DAT

  86. If you received Giftbase on diskettes, it came with an installation program
  87. that did this for you.
  88.  
  89. c.  Beginning 1990, the latest version of Giftbase to registered users will
  90. contain GB2WP5, a utility program which converts the Giftbase Mailmerge
  91. Export file to Word Perfect 5.0 format.  Other conversion programs for other
  92. word processors, such as Sprint, may be available from the author.
